Day 1 post 2 – Dargo / Bogong High Pains / Mt Feathertop Expedition 2007 and 2008

20071230 1740 hrs – Corner of the Princes Highway and the Dargo Road

The drive from the ExpeditionOz Upper Yarra Valley HQ was pretty quite with only a small amount of traffic on the backroad from Yarra Junction to Warragul. From Warragul to the Dargo turn-off its all on the Princes Highway which was a pretty good run.

I nearly got distracted and turned of to the fishing village of Hollands Landing (on the Gippsland Lakes) where i spent many a school holiday with the folks as a kid. Fishing was a very popular past time for my father, and in the early 1980′s Hollands Landing always guaranteed a bucket load of bream for any good angler.
