While ExpeditionOz Services is based in the mountains of the Great Dividing Range, about 100km east of Melbourne in the Australian state of Victoria, we provide a variety of services for locations both in and out of Australia, which include:

ExpeditionOz Expeditions – more info
Occasionally we will offer the chance to join our own expeditions, and while available numbers will be limited we guarantee that the locations we visit will be both spectacular and well of the beaten tracks. We currently have a number of expeditions in the planning phase to be held during 2010 and 2011 which vary between desert, mountains, snow, ice and sea locations.

Expedition Planning – more info
If you are planning to undertake a remote trip or mount an expedition for personal, business or scientific reasons, we can work with you to help develop and fine tune your intended journey and all aspects of it. We can organise any permits you may require as well as the essentials, such as; 4WD and transport vehicles (incl. air and sea travel), fuel drops, food, recovery gear, communications equipment (incl. GPS, rugged laptops, 27MHz / UHF / HF radios, satellite phone / data, satellite based emergency response units), staff (incl. guides, drivers, cooks, medical, etc) and camp equipment (incl. basic, fully serviced, semi-permanent and mobile camps). Remote Site Surveying – more info
Do you need a remote location surveyed for your next expedition? If you need the precise latitude, longitude and altitude, we have experience in gathering this sort of information and have access to high-end equipment to do the job correctly.

Online & Offline Mapping – more info
We have access to a number of online mapping solutions along with many of the current Geographic Information Systems, which we can utilise to provide you with the information you are looking for. We also have our own library of digital and paper maps, both new and old, that we can use also use as reference material. If we still can’t find a map of what you are looking for, we have cartography hardware and software which we can use to create specific maps at your request. We are also currently developing our own specialised mapping and expedition software suite.

Remote Photography & Videography – more info
If you require professional photography or video production services for publication or for documenting your expedition, our pro-am gear and years of experience in creating this kind of content will guarantee you are happy with both the end result and the price.

Expedition Websites – more info
For all of the expeditions that we organise, we provide an online website where you can post daily comments, upload photos, send and receive emails and even share your current location via an online mapping system. While there is an additional cost for renting the required equipment to update the site if you don’t already own similar items (ie. camera, portable computer, GPS, remote communications device), our original service fee subsidises the cost of keeping each website active for up to five years after your expedition finishing.
